Our upgraded Learning Centre/ Library was also transformed over the break. Last week saw the arrival of our new Contemporary Learning Space furniture. This will allow our library to be used every day of the week for various purposes, including Project Based Learning and provides work space for both collaborative and independent work.
Our new High Definition Activ-Board was also installed just before the holidays and the SPN staff had some training on this new state of the art board at our Staff Development Day last Tuesday. The Learning Centre/Library now also has a new bank of 30- 6th Generation iPads with Apple Pencils that will be available for both library lessons and when the Learning Space is being used at other times.
The upgrading of our Learning Centre would not have been possible without the generous support of our SPN P&F and their amazing fundraising efforts in 2018. The staff and students certainly appreciate the support all our parents give to our little school, ensuring our students have the best facilities and learning opportunities. We will continue to enhance our Learning Centre with some of the funds raised in 2019.
